Pack 232 offers a wide variety of activities throughout the year, from outdoor adventures to community service projects. Every activity is designed to build character, develop skills, and create lasting memories.

Plan Your Scouting Year

We feature annual activities that we regularly participate in throughout the year. Event specifics are reserved for registered scouts and their families, and the most up-to-date calendar information and ability to RSVP for events is all housed in Scoutbook.

🏕️ Summer Resident Camp

Camping Tigers - AOL

A full week of adventure with overnight camping, swimming, crafts, and outdoor skills at Rotary Scout Reservation.

Cost: $0 - $225 (sliding scale)

🎯 Pinewood Derby

Special Events All Ranks

Design, build, and race your own wooden car in this classic Cub Scout tradition. Awards for speed, design, and sportsmanship.

Cost: $5 car kit

Location: Glenmont Elementary

🌲 Day Camp

Camping All Ranks

A week of daytime outdoor activities including archery, nature hikes, swimming, and crafts. Perfect for younger scouts!

Cost: $75-150

Location: Local BSA camps

🚢 USS Slater Tour

Outdoor Adventures Webelos - AOL

Explore the historic destroyer escort with an overnight sleepover aboard the ship. Learn naval history and sleep in crew quarters!

Cost: $40-60

Service Projects All Ranks

Collect non-perishable food items for local food banks. Make a difference in our community while earning service hours.

Cost: Free

Location: Local neighborhoods

🎉 Blue & Gold Banquet

Special Events All Ranks

Celebrate Scouting's birthday with a special dinner, awards ceremony, and entertainment. A highlight of the year for families!

Cost: $10-15 per person

Pack Meeting Activities

Our monthly pack meetings feature special guests and unique activities that bring learning and excitement to our scouts. Past pack meetings have included:

  • Reptiles & Amphibians Show

    Live animal demonstrations teaching scouts about wildlife and conservation

  • Birds of Prey Program

    Up-close encounters with hawks, owls, and falcons with expert handlers

  • Martial Arts Demonstrations

    Learning self-discipline, respect, and basic self-defense techniques

  • Pumpkin Farm Visit

    Fall-themed family outing with pumpkin picking and seasonal activities
